All inclusive Fees
We are an All Inclusive Nursery, meaning that we provide all meals, snacks, nappies, wipes and milk for your convenience. Our meals and snacks are sourced locally, prepared and cooked freshly by our on-site nursery chef. We cater for all dietary requirements and allergies.
Hola! Our preschool children are given the opportunity to explore language through weekly Spanish lessons!
Zoolab helps excite our children's curiosity and covers many subject areas within the national curriculum by introducing children to all sorts of animals, big and small!
Our Crèche is a stay and play session where children are involved in play experiences, and developing social skills.
We celebrate Christmas by putting on a wonderful Christmas show for friends and family each year. There's always much excitement in preparing for the show as we learn songs and organise our special dress ups.
We all pull together for a big day in the garden at our nurseries, preparing for new seasons and enjoying some sunshine!
E-Learning Journals allow you to see your child’s activities at nursery with the click of a button. Staff upload images and notes about your child's participation in activities at nursery for you to access wherever you are. Our nursery tablets offer exciting and stimulating learning experiences tailored to challenge and engage little ones.
Caring for animals can be a very calming and relaxing experience for children as well as an opportunity to assess risk. This provides many vital learning opportunities and skills that supports children's transition to school and adult life. Children name, feed and care for nursery pets.
Eco Schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world and is designed to encourage action on sustainable development education issues. We love getting involved in Eco Schools projects and learning about how to protect the environment.
Settling In Sessions
Our nursery offers settling in sessions. Parents can bring their child for a couple of hours first, gradually introducing the child to a new environment. Settling in sessions are aimed at helping your child to adapt to their new surroundings and become more familiar with the staff and other children.
Our nursery encourages children to celebrate festivals throughout the year. This is one of the best ways for children to learn about different religions and cultures by celebrating various world religious festivals, food tasting from different countries, and dressing up in the national dress of their friends.
In recognition that education begins in the home, we are fully committed to a partnership approach with parents. Parents are kept up to date with seasonal newsletters, quarterly parent focus groups and parent’s evenings twice a year. Parents are also able to keep up to date with activities going on in the nursery by following our group social media accounts; Cumbernauld Facebook, Happitots Twitter and Happitots Instagram.
Our nursery enjoys great ties with our local community and we are often out and about visiting local sights and getting involved in events.
We offer a nursery uniform for preschoolers, helping to make the weekday routine a little simpler for busy families.
Taking part in fundraising activities helps children to learn about others that are less fortunate than themselves and understand how we can help them. Fundraising events are good fun and are a great way to get children, families and communities together. Some of the fundraisers we have taken part in are sponsored toddles, superhero days, bake sales and garden parties.
We offer an annual summer trip to our children which can include exploring at a number of wonderful attraction sites! Some of our previous trips have been to places like Palacerigg Petting Zoo and Dynamic Earth Science Centre in Edinburgh!
